Tynisa Gaines, B.S., M.P.A,  is an Enrolled Agent (EA) which is America's tax expert. As a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), she is required to take 30 hours of continuing education courses annually. She is currently a director for the NAEA and received Mentor of the Year from NAEA in 2022.  She is the past- president of the Northern Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents and is the past President of the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents (VASEA).  She was EA of the year in 2015 for VASEA.  She is the author of Tax-ish:  Teens 1.0.  She has past experience teaching for Northern Virginia Community College and Virginia Tech Income Tax School and currently teaches for other tax organizations including NAEA and affiliate states.
